Hi All, I have a BU16 (D-51, firmware 1.4.1) on macOS 15.7.2 that, after being left on for some time, seems to stop sending MIDI messages (I monitor that using MIDI Monitor). The crazy thing is that the device still seems to be working normally inside the Grid Editor.
This has been happening to me almost every day lately. The issue reminds me a little of this, though of course it is clearly different.
Any suggestion? Thanks!
This is caused by the Editor most likely. There is a bug where the Editor will hijack Grid as a MIDI device from other DAW applications.
IIRC it has been fixed on the Nightly branch a couple of weeks ago, you could give it a quick try just to test it.
Thanks @narayb I am actually quite sure that I did not have the Editor open at the times I experienced the issue. What else do you suggest, or what kind of debugging can I do to help you?

I can confirm that this is an original issue, not the one referred to in the GitHub issue above. The BU16 stops sending MIDI independently of Grid Editor being running or not. This usually happens after the device having been on for many hours, e.g. the whole night.
