Changes get reverted in the grid editor

I really hope I’m doing something wrong. I’m working on adapting some community made code for the EN16.

  • I loaded the 64CTRL 2.2 config from the profile cloud.
  • Store
  • Go to encoder 15
  • Setup Tab
  • Edit code block
  • Click Commit
  • Click Close
  • now it says I have an active change… okay
  • Store
  • ---- At this point, although I’m not sure what the different between Commit and Store is (when I say I commit it says synced to the grid), it seems to work.
  • THEN! if I click ANYWHERE it will put the blue icon over the “Setup” button and give the message that there is an active change.
  • When I look, it has reverted my code change.
  • Clicking Discard all or clear at the top seems to lose this revert that I didn’t ask for, but it also clears other content in the grid module.

What is going on. This is a bug right? I’m feeling super confused and frustrated.

PS - Is there a way to just write LUA for this without copy/paste into each cell?

Solved my own problem I think. Downloaded the nightly build and it did not have this issue.

Yup, this is sadly an Editor bug, it’s fixed on Nighly, Release version should be out soon.

What is the Nightly or Nighly build?
I am using Grid Editor 1.5.4 and unable to save certain aspects of things. I am told I have syntax errors etc but somehow feel like there is something not right with Grid Editor.
Please advise…and thank you.
