EF44 fader showing crazy values in Grid Editor

I have just received two new EF44. Both run the latest firmware 1.2.39. They seem to work fine with my synth. However, in Grid Editor the third fader from the left, which should be sending CC38 is showing completely non-sense values:

Is this just a bug in the Grid Editor or is there something wrong with my two EF44?

I had the same problem with my EN16.
First it happened on the 6th encoder, then it moved to the 10th, then it is currently disappeared.

So I guess it’s a software-wise problem. There were a lot of syncing between the moves.
