Encoder Resistance

Hey, I just picked up two PFB4s and one PO16, and I’ve noticed that certain potentiometers twist more easily than others. Is there a way for me to easily loosen the resistance/friction on some of the more difficult to twist encoders to have all potentiometers weighted equally?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

P.S. I would also love to reduce the friction on the faders too if possible

I found the same on my PO16s also.

All analog components should “break in” so to say with time and should be easier to turn and move as you use them.

Same here with the PFB4 I just received today, each of the four knobs has a different feel, especially one of them is very tight.

was the same for me too with PO16, after of two weeks using it, all knobs works good, similar resistance.

Nice to see you here Bryant!

Ah, great to know. Quick question on this… what is the material of the encoder knobs, is it hard plastic or coated rubbery like an Electron box?

They’re plastic but doesn’t feel so cheap imho. Great quality for the price.
Cheers.
