Grid EF44 shows only red lights, no reaction, no visibility

Hi, i don’t know why or when it happend but my EF44 is not working nor visible anymore and shows only red lights.
I tried the same cable and others. I have a PBF4 which works fine. Changed it with the EF44 = red lights . Tried the Bios-Login , no respond just the red lights.
What is this? Why is it?
How can i “reset” the EF44 (it has the sign on the Plate), whithout been seeing in Editor or Windows 11 ?

So, after a Supportticket with this Problem, because the Forum here is dead space, i get only a hint to make a bios-update. After my response that this is not possible, because blah blah: no more support…
Yeah! Thanks for no help. As i have written i can’t get it been seen in the Editor AND the Windows Explorer. Its like dead but with red lights on. So how is it possible to make a software update?
GREAT SUPPORT, THX FOR NOTHING
It is always the same. Now that the products find a Shop and Sellingpoint, the customer is no more usable but for buying (the same with Monogramcc). Well then i have to quit buying your stuff. Because no/bad support means no Product to rely on.
A product that “could” work sometimes or “could” work a long time is nothing to rely on. If you wanna be a big one, act like the big one. Do your homework.

Hi there!

I’m not quite sure if I was the one talking to you on the forums, but it seems to me that you’re unable to get the module into bootloader.

Red lights indicate that the module wasn’t able to boot into Firmware and booted into bootloader mode, but was not able to enumerate properly.

Failed enumeration is usually caused by one of two things:

  1. Host computer won’t host the device.
  2. The Grid module has a faulty USB port.

The first issue is sometimes reported by users using Windows 11 and are hard to troubleshoot. It would be unusual however if the module was suddenly behaving like this, and Windows 11 couldn’t cause the module to not boot into firmware by itself.

The second issue is what’s more likely in your case, since you also mentioned having an older module with the logo on the front panel. These modules from before May of 2023, especially older ones are susceptible to this problem.

Please write to us again on the support mail, maybe even by linking to this thread and we’ll be able to help you there. We’re a small team, but believe me we want to help you, and we’ll find a way to help you out in this case for sure!

Thank you. I will do so a last time.
