I have been spending 2 whole weeks fighting with this thing, and FL Studio.
Things are not documented there, and an once worked code just suddenly doesn’t work, rinse and repeat.
Sure it’s challenging, but it’s also slowly draining my soul out…
That was my experience too in the beginning, I got my intech controllers for two weeks now.
I’ve also experienced the things working and later you store it and it doesn’t anymore. For some reason now it doesn’t happens to me so often, I think maybe I was making mistakes in the code or something.
A good tip I’ve discovered is to use the function “merge actions into code”, then you can discover somethings and to apply that later in your codeblocks.
A thing was a bit harder (or not so intuitive) for me was the MIDI RX. I could get it working with the documentation examples, they are cool. However, I have two modules connected, and I had to figure that you need to use filtering to map the incoming midi messages to one or another device.
I am far of being an expert at coding on Grid Editor, but after of two weeks using it, reading documentation, trying, asking here in the forums, I could figure out most of the things I need (I use with Reaktor only), so I would say keep trying and asking here in the forums, there are good people that know grid editor very well.
