To use the immediate_send, I did upgrade my modules to firmware 1.2.37.
But no midi is sent in this version, regardless if one or more modules are connected. Midi rx does work fine on all connected modules, e.g. if I change volume or load a track on the app UI, the grid leds change accordingly.
The immediate_send works perfect!
The midi monitor of the grid editor shows midi being sent.
The DJ app, as well as a separate midi monitor do not receive anything from grid.
Edit: Reverting to 1.2.36 solved the sending of midi, hence it is almost certain a grid issue.
I’m forwarding this to the team and the nightly should be fixed sometime next week!

Well yes, our numbering scheme will not update the version number of the nightly release until a the release version is finalized.
So for example a developer can make multiple commits to the nightly branch, fix bugs and test stuff without changing the version number. And when the version is finalized, the version numbers gets bumped for both the release and nightly versions.
