Just wondering if there is a way to switch the editor between different separate Grid devices. I have two EN16s on one MIDI port and one TEK2 as a separate USB-MIDI device because it is in a different place on my desk. I haven’t found a selection in the editor to edit either the EN16 combo or the TEK2.
Right now I am working around this by unplugging one of the two USB cables, but I am sure that can’t be the offical way to do this. So what am I missing?
Ok, I found it. Well hidden. Who would have thought that “unmaximizing” the window showing the device via the up arrow reveals a switcher between the different ports. Especially since the device window is maximized by default.
The problem with clever UI solutions that noone else uses is that noone knows how to use your software. There is a reason for commonly used UI conventions like tab switching bars.
